MAGAZINE SUBMISSIONS

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

Who we are:

HiHeyHello is an independent bi-annual publication celebrating women’s outdoor, action sports, and creative culture. We believe in a more inclusive outdoors that can be and should be more welcoming. Voices of all abilities, sizes, backgrounds, and orientations are welcome and encouraged to submit.

Our content includes adventure stories, profiles, coverage of food, gear, art, environmental & social issues, and outdoor culture. We cover outdoor experiences ranging from surfing to rock climbing, snowboarding to bike-packing, mountaineering to backyard hikes and everything in between. We celebrate the makers and the shakers, the activists and the organizers, the elite athletes to the first-timers- pretty much anyone who is shattering ceilings or giving the bird to outdated stereotypes of who and how we belong in the outdoors.

While we aim to share primarily WTNB voices, we do partner with brands and creatives of all genders and identities.

We reserve every magazine cover shot for WTNB creatives.

If you have never written for HiHeyHello or are new to writing, we welcome you to submit as much info as possible with your pitch. We have found that the more you share, the easier it is for both parties to meet deadlines and expectations. That being said, we will try to answer questions and be accessible.  If you have written for HiHeyHello or have substantial writing experience, pitches are accepted along with a link to your portfolio.

If you are interested in submitting an article, please familiarize yourself with past issues of the magazine to ensure your idea is relevant.
